Now that we finally have power here in Houston (minutes from downtown) I can share a couple photos of our Ike experience. Overall not as bad as you might think for a Cat. 2 that made landfall 60 miles from our house. We were very lucky to only lose power and we were even luckier to have some great neighbors that helped out with the cleanup and provided some sanity breaks with visits in their AC. Yes the south side of our street had power the entire time.
