I am not sure if this is what Donald Ross had in mind when he designed Pinehurst No. 2. But it can’t be worse than sledding down the hole #4 fairway on the hood of an old buick – which is what I hear the local kids used to do back in the day.

These are from our recent trip home to Pinehurst to celebrate all of the July and August birthdays. 6 in all ranging from Chase who just turned one to Dad who is much more than one… Everyone had a great time at the low country boil. Eating shrimp, cupcakes, and dancing to shag music. Rebecca just loved all of the action and hanging with her cousins. She and Alex are spending the week together and I hear that they are fast friends and hold hands. Apparently Rebecca mothers Alex a bit and keeps him on the straight and narrow.
Check out all of the kids and balloons on the course. Again maybe sand angels aren’t the best idea…
